Before starting Alpine Auto, founder Lou Calka worked for Maserati Automobiles. He earn the Arrow Automotive Industries Achievement Award in 1990 for a perfect score on the ASE Electrical test. Lou also earned Motor Magazine's award for being the highest scoring Master Technician in the country in aftermarket repair.
Lou and technician Steve are both ASE certified Master Technicians. Technicians Mickey and Mark are also ASE certified. Lou was invited by ASE to join their panel of industry experts who determine the criteria for ASE certification.
In additon to his many certifications and years of expertise, Lou also wrote many technical articles for Brake & Front End magazine.
